Welcome to GrocStock, where managing multiple properties becomes seamless and efficient! Whether you’re a seasoned property manager or just starting, this guide will walk you through the onboarding process, from signing up to utilising advanced features. Let’s dive in!
Step 1: Sign Up
Start your journey with GrocStock by signing up. Creating an account is straightforward—simply follow the prompts to provide your information and get started. You can do that from our website or download the mobile app.

Step 2: Add Your House
Once logged in, begin by adding your property:
Navigate to the Houses: After logging in, access your houses.
Add a New House: Click on the “Add House” button and enter the details of your property. This includes the house name and other relevant information.
Step 3: Structure Your House
Organise your property by adding rooms and compartments:
Add Rooms: Within the house profile, add rooms by specifying their names and details.
Add Compartments: For further organisation, add compartments to each room. This is especially useful for large properties with multiple storage areas.
Step 4: Manage Items
Populate your house with details by adding items:
Add Items to House, Room, or Compartment: Go to the relevant section (house, room, or compartment) and start adding items. For each item, you can include information such as quantity, unit, expiry date, and purchase history.
Categories: You can add your own categories to organise items more efficiently.
We know that this is a time consuming task, but hey, this is one time set up.
Step 5: Add Users
Manage access by adding users to your property:
Admin: These users will have full control over the property management features. Add them through the “User” section.
User: These are users with limited access. This users has no access to in-app messaging.
Service: Service team members who has restricted access. They can login and manage tasks.
Ensure that guests are not added as users.
Step 6: Utilise NFC Tags and QR Codes
Enhance guest experience with NFC tags and QR codes:
Add NFC Tags : Assign NFC tags for items in your house. This allows guests to easily tap to view item details.
Print QR Codes: Print (yes, you can do it from the app) and stick QR codes to the items. This allows guests to easily scan to view item details.
Step 7: Manage Tasks
Create and manage tasks for both service teams and guests:
Create Tasks: Add tasks that need to be completed, such as making the bed or starting the dishwasher.
Assign Tasks: Assign these tasks to service team members or guests based on their responsibilities.
Step 8: Enable Preview
Once your house is set up, enable the preview feature:
Activate Preview: Go to the house preview and enable the preview option. This will generate a shareable link that you can provide to your guests.
Step 9: Guest Interaction
When guests arrive:
Guest Interaction: They can use the preview link to access information, scan QR codes, or tap NFC tags to get details about items.
Preview: Guests will have a full view of the house and its details before arriving, and the five star experience begins even before they check-in.
In-app messaging: Guests can use the in-app messaging feature to have a chat with Admins of the house and resolve queries in real time.
AI Assistant: There is an AI assistant that can provide information about the house. All you need to do is just ask. This can act as a 24/7 support for the guests.
