Four Types of Tasks for Seamless Management
GrocStock's new Tasks feature allows for the creation of four distinct types of tasks, each tailored to specific user roles and privacy levels:
Admin Private Tasks: These tasks are only visible to admins, allowing them to manage sensitive or internal tasks without guest involvement.
Admin Public Tasks: These tasks are visible to both admins and guests. Guests can view these tasks but cannot take any action on them. This ensures that guests are informed of important tasks while still keeping control in the hands of the admin.
Guest Private Tasks: These tasks are for guests to manage their own responsibilities, such as tasks that need to be completed before checkout. These tasks are private and only visible to the guest who created them.
Guest Public Tasks: These tasks are assigned by the admin but can be actioned by guests. For example, taking out the trash or replenishing items before departure.
Task History: Track Every Change
One of the standout features of the new Tasks function is Task History. Each task includes a detailed history log that tracks all changes, providing a clear record of who did what and when. This is particularly useful for admins who need to monitor task completion and ensure accountability.
Admins also have the flexibility to delete the task history if necessary, ensuring that the task management process remains clean and organized.
